Villanova University partners with Veditz, opening up a new vertical market for Veditz' award winning software.
Villanova University, one of the US's most prestigious private universities, and ranked as one of the top 5 Catholic universities in the US has selected Veditz to work with the university's Center for Access, Success and Achievement (CASA) which in particular provides services to students from minority backgrounds.
CASA provides tutoring to over 200 students and they were looking for a solution to enable their students to access tutoring online within a private and secured service, with the tutoring provided by Villanova students.
The university's Provost office learned about Veditz and our focus on the deaf, and they contacted us curious to see if our platform could be applied to meet their needs even though they are serving hearing students. Simple answer was YES.
We started this week a pilot for this Fall term with over 200 students and 50 tutors. We think we may have a new vertical market to complement Veditz' focus on the deaf. This new vertical is large; Colleges and Universities with their own tutoring center and in-house tutors, who want to provide tutoring to their students at nights and weekend, online anytime anywhere and on any device.
Veditz remains focused on the deaf market, but this potential new complimentary vertical market is very exciting. Stay tuned for updates.
